Fatima Farheen Mirza will visit to discuss her debut novel, A Place for Us. The deeply moving and resonant novel is the first from Sarah Jessica Parker’s new imprint, SJP for Hogarth. A Place for Us details the life of an Indian Muslim family in America and their children’s search to feel whole, fulfilled, and content. The astonishingly tender-hearted novel of identity and belonging announces Mirza as a major new literary talent.

Mirza is a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop and a recipient of the Michener-Copernicus Fellowship.
