Lissa Marie Redmond spent 22 years in the Buffalo Police Department, investigating cold cases and helping to catch a serial killer, before she retired to become a writer. Drawing on real-life experience as a detective, Redmond’s first book, A Cold Day In Hell, was described by Publishers Weekly as an "excellent police procedural combined with a psychological thriller.”
Now the Cold Case Investigation series continues with The Murder Book, as detective Lauren Riley wakes up in the hospital certain of two things: she was stabbed and left for dead, and the person who did it was a cop.
